Obelit

The active ingredient present in Obelit is Orlistat. Obelit is used in obesity and  is as a weight loss medication that decreases the fat absorption from your intestinals rather than suppressing your appetite. It works by inhibiting pancreatic lipase.Obelit inhibits enzymes responsible for the breakdown of fats in the intestine. As a result, Obelit prevents the digestion and absorption of fats in the intestine. Obelit is used for obesity management and includes weight loss and weight maintenance when used along with with a reduced calorie and low fat diet. Orlistat is also indicated to reduce the risk for weight regain after prior weight loss.The common Orlistat side effects reported in 5% or more of the patients treated with this medicine are gastrointestinal-related, and include steatorrhea (oily, loose stools with excessive flatus due to unabsorbed fats reaching the large intestine), fecal incontinence and frequent or urgent bowel movements.
