It should be used along with counseling and a support group to help you quit smoking. Champix works by mimicking the effects of nicotine on the brain to reduce the urge to smoke and relieve withdrawal symptoms. Quitting smoking can decrease the risk of heart and lung diseases such as cancer.Champix should be used following the directions on the dosing package or as directed by a doctor. Champix (4 Week Pack) should be taken with a full glass of water after eating a snack or meal.
